Samara Academic Consultancy Center (SACC) is a place for students and faculty of Samara National Research University to get help with academic writing and communication. SACC was established as a part of Modern Languages and Professional Communication Department, Samara University in 2015.To provide competent work and personnel training, Prof. Viktoria V. Levchenko (Department Head and project organizer) invited an expert in the field of academic writing Eve Smith (USA).
Our Mission:
SACC is designed to assist the university community in three ways:
1) to help faculty write for international publications and conferences2) to provide students a friendly area to communicate in English3) to provide professional development activities and coaching for faculty members and students
SACC provides services on improving
• drafts of writing papers (abstracts, articles, conference proposals, writing assignments, job applications, CV, biodata, etc.)• oral presentations• conversation skills• interview skills• working with research databases
